Buffalo Ballroom teaches partnership dances at 3461 N Benzing Rd in Orchard Park, a short drive from Buffalo. You learn at your own pace in a fun, supportive environment with no pressure to progress faster than feels right.
The studio teaches a wide range of dances across ballroom, Latin, smooth, and rhythm styles. These include waltz, tango, foxtrot, quickstep, viennese waltz, East Coast swing, West Coast swing, Argentine tango, paso doble, jive, salsa, cha-cha, rumba, samba, bolero, mambo, merengue, hustle, polka, and Texas two step.
William Sprague is an accomplished ballroom dancer who has competed and won in many different events and been awarded top teacher in many competitions. His students have earned the title of top student in a variety of competitions. Yelena Sprague began dancing as a young girl in Soviet Ukraine and competed as a finalist in the Ukrainian National Youth Division. She owned two successful studios in Ukraine before being invited to work at the Fred Astaire Studio in Albany, NY, where she earned Top Female Teacher five years in a row. She received First Place in the Rhythm Division while competing as a finalist in many categories at the Fred Astaire World Championship on July 20th, 2012. In 2011, Anastasia Abrashin invited Yelena to manage the Orchard Park studio. The studio also has instructors Lola and Autumn.
Buffalo Ballroom specializes in wedding dance choreography. They teach first dances for couples, traditional parent and child dances, and wedding party dance routines. They work with single students, who partner with instructors for private lessons, and also offer group practice sessions where singles meet and dance with other students sharing the same goals.
The studio competes actively, planning to dance at the Falls Premier Ball in Canada in January, with student showcases, solos, and multi-dance events. They attend competitions across the county and Canada. Pro-Am opportunities are available, meaning if you don't have a partner you can dance with an instructor one-on-one. Events include the New Year's Showcase (January 11th, 2026) and Dance Vision Examiner Michael Choi (March 3-4, 2026). The studio sells dance shoes, practice wear, accessories, jewelry, and gift packages.

Your first visit
You'll work one-on-one with an instructor who meets you at your level. If you're single, you partner with your instructor during private lessons. The studio welcomes students of all ages and experience levels and creates a warm atmosphere focused on helping you feel confident while mastering steps.
