About this studio
Dance 4U offers private dance lessons, group classes and wedding choreography in downtown Vancouver. The studio teaches salsa, bachata and swing to dancers of all levels, with instruction designed around each person's goals and experience.
Private lessons are available as single one-hour sessions or in four-hour packages. A single private lesson costs $100; the four-hour package is $340. All private instruction includes use of a private studio space and customized teaching adapted to your comfort level and what you want to improve—whether that's technique, timing, leading, following or confidence before a social dance event.
Wedding dance lessons are a core service. Dance 4U creates personalized choreography built around your chosen song, style and abilities. You can book a single one-hour wedding lesson for $120 or a four-hour complete package for $420, which includes time to develop full choreography, practise transitions and build confidence. The studio also offers lessons for parents, wedding parties and family moments, and can provide live performances or reception classes to get wedding guests dancing. All wedding lesson rates include taxes and private studio space.
Group classes run in five-week blocks. As of August 2026, Dance 4U offers Monday night salsa classes in West Vancouver at Nazain Academy (1406 Clyde Avenue). Two levels are available: Salsa 1 and Beginner Salsa, both running from 7:00–9:00 PM on Mondays from August 3–31, 2026. Registration is by phone.
Beyond private and wedding instruction, Dance 4U designs interactive dance experiences for private parties, corporate team building and community events. Birthday parties, holiday celebrations and workplace gatherings can be customized by group size, venue, available time and comfort level. The studio works with you to recommend a format and provide a quote based on your specific needs.
The teaching philosophy centres on patient, supportive instruction in a non-intimidating atmosphere. The team emphasizes flexible scheduling and downtown Vancouver locations, working with your availability and location preferences. Instructors include Corey, Samia and Kato.
