About this studio
Dance Dynamics opened on September 7, 1996, founded by Annette Allen Wilson and Marion Burgess Flannigan with the goal of providing quality dance education for their own daughters and the Memphis community. The studio is located at 8059 Stage Hills Blvd, Suite 114, in Bartlett, Tennessee.
The studio serves dancers ages 2½ through high school, offering both recreational and competitive programmes. Their stated goal is to provide a full dance curriculum at both levels, helping each student reach their full potential. The teaching philosophy emphasises building confidence, respect for self and art, and a joy for dance alongside proper technique and strong foundational skills.
Dance Dynamics has a track record of producing alumni who have pursued dance professionally and academically. Former students have gone on to degrees in dance at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, University of Arizona, University of Alabama, Florida State University, and the University of Memphis Pom Squad. Several alumni are dancing professionally in Broadway touring companies and on prestigious stages throughout the country, while others have become dance teachers in the community.
The studio runs an annual recital, with the 2025–2026 production scheduled for Saturday, June 13th, 2026 at Briarcrest Christian School. The dance season follows the Bartlett City Schools calendar, allowing for approximately four lessons per month. Regular classes begin September 2, 2025, with the studio closed for major holidays and school breaks but open for Veteran's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and President's Day.
