About this studio
Dance Studio DIAMOND is run by Martina and Tomáš Uváček in Bratislava-Petržalka. The studio describes itself as a 7-time Slovak national champion dance studio, with a focus on developing dancers across all ages and levels.
The studio offers dance and movement training for children from age 5, teaching simple elements designed to help young dancers perceive rhythm and coordinate basic movements with music. For children from age 7, the program expands into dance training in standard and Latin-American dances: Waltz, Quickstep, Cha Cha and Jive, with progression towards first competitive dance events.
For adults and teenagers, the studio offers competitive dance sport training, with programs designed to prepare dancers for competition-level ballroom and Latin-American dance. They teach Samba, Cha Cha, Jive and Paso Doble among other styles. The studio also runs Latino Ladies, a program for women focused on rhythm-based dance and movement.
Wedding choreography is a core service: the studio offers both individual and group lessons to help couples create a dance for their special day. They also teach social dance to youth, adults and seniors, including preparation for ball season.
Individual PRO/AM lessons are available—a worldwide model pairing professional dancers or instructors with amateur students. The studio emphasizes that its goal is to support the development of dance sport in Slovakia and to attract people with a shared love of movement and dance.
