Dance With Me Fort Lee

Dance With Me Fort Lee is a ballroom and Latin dance studio located at 2029 Lemoine Ave in Fort Lee, New Jersey. The studio opened its doors on December 4, 2013, as part of the Dance With Me family, which traces its roots to August 1, 2005, when the first Dance With Me studio opened. The studio was officially welcomed to the community when the mayor of Fort Lee, Mark Sokolich, cut the ribbon in front of local media and government officials. In 2014, the Fort Lee Regional Chamber of Commerce awarded Dance With Me Fort Lee the annual Merit award for "significant impact on the borough of Fort Lee, NJ."

The studio teaches a comprehensive range of dance styles across multiple categories. American Rhythm classes explore Cha-Cha, Rumba, Swing, Bolero, and Mambo with emphasis on musicality and personal expression. American Smooth covers Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, and Viennese Waltz with open movement and dramatic lines. International Latin focuses on Cha-Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, and Jive. International Standard covers Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz, and Quickstep. Social Styles include Salsa, Bachata, Hustle, Kizomba, Line Dance, East Coast Swing, Two-Step, and Mambo. The studio also offers custom choreography services tailored to your music and vision.

Group dance classes run on a regular schedule with options at all levels. August offerings include Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Kizomba at 6:50 PM (All Levels), Line Dancing at 7:40 PM, Latin Drills at 6:50 PM, Latin Choreography Mix at 7:40 PM, American Smooth Tango at 6:00 PM, and Dancin' thru the Decades at 6:50 PM. Private one-on-one lessons are available with expert instructors who personalize each session to your needs, goals, and schedule. The studio also offers Dance Fitness classes that combine dynamic dance moves with full-body workouts, and wedding dance lessons for couples preparing their first dance or father-daughter routines.

Social Dance Parties are held regularly, providing a welcoming space for dancers of all levels to practice moves and enjoy a night out. The team includes Elena Russo (Regional Manager), who holds a BFA in Dance Performance from Montclair State University and graduated Summa Cum Laude, and Yavet Diaz (Dance Instructor), originally from Miami, trained in ballet, jazz, hip hop, and salsa, and certified in American Styles through the Fred Astaire organization. Yavet has competed in Pro/Am divisions for Rhythm and led students to numerous championships.
