EA Dance Art

EA Dance Art opened in 2023 in Hilliard, Ohio, founded by Enoch Evans and Anastasia Gordeeva. Both instructors began training in International Latin as children—Enoch at 9 years old, Anastasia at 12—and each brings over 11 years of teaching experience. They met in 2018 to dance together professionally and now compete across the country in the American Rhythm division, holding numerous titles in Rising Star Rhythm and Open Rhythm divisions.

The studio is certified to teach over 25 different partner dance styles. Latin styles include Cha-Cha, Rumba, Swing, Bolero, Mambo, Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue. Ballroom styles offered are Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz, and Quickstep. Most instruction is delivered as private 1-on-1 lessons tailored to your goals—whether that's social dancing for weddings and events, competitive ballroom dance training, or general technique and styling. If you don't have a partner, you'll dance with an instructor.

Lessons run 45 minutes and are available Monday to Friday 10am–9pm and Saturday 10am–7pm, Sunday 10am–4pm (weekends subject to availability for competitions). The studio atmosphere is described as safe and positive, with multiple lessons often happening simultaneously. You'll join a community of dancers, and instructors share music, taking turns playing their favorite songs during lessons. For wedding dances, the studio can choreograph your first dance, father-daughter dance, or mother-son dance, and assists with music selection and editing.

The studio also hosts group classes to work on patterns and regular parties where students feel welcomed and included. Beyond teaching, Enoch and Anastasia perform in showcases and competitions, often dancing with their students. The studio operates on a flexible pay-as-you-dance model with no contracts or packages.

Your first lesson is an introduction to ballroom basics and 2–3 different dances, followed by a discussion of your goals. You'll receive email and text confirmation beforehand. Simply arrive and wait in the lobby for your instructor. Plan on 45 minutes, wear anything comfortable to move in, and bring no special shoes initially.

Enoch Evans began training at 9 years old in International Latin and has over 11 years of teaching experience; he teaches all styles of Latin and Ballroom and competes professionally in American Rhythm. Anastasia Gordeeva started at 12 years old in International Latin and has over 11 years of teaching experience; she also competes professionally with Enoch in American Rhythm. Together they hold numerous Rising Star and Open American Rhythm titles.
