Epic Dance & Fitness is a dance and fitness studio in Ridgeland, MS founded on the belief that movement has the power to transform lives. The studio was started by Tamisha, who discovered during her time at Jackson State University that dance and fitness were powerful tools for building confidence and bringing people together. Today it operates as a welcoming community space for all ages and experience levels.
The studio offers a wide range of classes across multiple disciplines. Pole fitness ranges from beginner-friendly introductions like Epic Pole Experience and Static Pole 101 through intermediate options like Pole Boot Camp and Pole Strong to advanced classes including Spin Pole and High Flyers. Aerial Silks classes teach climbing, wrapping, and graceful poses for beginners through intermediate students. Dance classes include Hip Hop for all levels and Boss Heels Only for intermediate to advanced dancers. Sweat Trappen is a high-energy dance fitness class blending choreography with cardio. Strength and conditioning options include TRX Suspension Trainer and Flexibility & Stretch classes. Float & Flow combines flexibility, balance and fluid transitions for intermediate movers.
Classes are taught by named instructors including Mrs. Epic, Mr. Kyro, Ms. Smiley, Mr. Ziggy Cryptid, Ms. Kakez, Ms. Sassy, Ms. Bambi, Ms. Diamond, and others. Most classes run for approximately 60 minutes. The studio emphasises beginner-friendly instruction and welcomes students with no prior experience.
Beyond regular classes, Epic Dance & Fitness hosts private parties for birthdays, bachelorettes, girls' nights and team building events. Party packages are available and the studio offers studio rental options. Private lessons are available for individuals and small groups. A single drop-in class costs $35, and 90-day punch cards are offered as an alternative to membership. The studio also sells dance essentials including heels, performance clothing and accessories.
The studio is located at 829 Wilson Drive, Suite F, Ridgeland, MS 39157. Hours vary by day: Monday 11am–12pm and 5–8pm, Tuesday 12–1pm and 5–8pm, Wednesday 10am–12pm and 5–8pm, Thursday 12–1pm and 5–8pm, Friday closed for parties and rentals, Saturday 10:30am–2pm, and Sunday closed.

What started as a passion for movement has grown into a vibrant community celebrating every step forward on and off the dance floor.
