About this studio
First Dance Ballroom Studio is a locally owned dance studio in Gulf Breeze offering ballroom, Latin, Smooth, and Rhythm classes. They teach both private lessons (by appointment) and group classes, with a focus on making dance accessible and enjoyable for all skill levels.
The studio specializes in wedding dances. Their Wedding Dance Programs cover first dances, father/daughter, mother/son, and wedding party group dances. Most couples prepare a wedding dance in 2–3 lessons, though some take lessons monthly over 6–12 months for more elaborate choreography. The studio sends students home with a study video and can professionally cut music to match your dance.
New students typically start with an Introductory Lesson, which teaches basic moves across several dances to help you find your style. There's also a dedicated Wedding Introductory Lesson for couples deciding between a simple, classy first dance or an advanced showstopper.
The studio operates Tuesday to Saturday 12–9:15pm and Sunday 12–5:00pm (closed Mondays). Private lessons are scheduled by appointment. One-time introductory classes cost $35, and group classes are $10 per person. You can book by phone or email.
