About this studio

Flamenco Studio Seville is run by Eva Verbruggen, a Belgian-born dancer who began classical ballet training at age 5 and moved to flamenco in 2002. She studied at the Cristina Heeren Foundation in Seville, training under flamenco masters Manolo Soler, Milagros Menjíbar and Rafael Campallo. She continues to study with Marta Arias and Rosario Toledo under the guidance of her maestro Andrés Marín. Since 2011 she has performed on many stages in Seville.

The studio offers flamenco dance and Sevillanas classes. Eva has years of experience teaching both styles and regularly gives classes and intensive courses. Her approach focuses on conscious learning and building a solid foundation in the art form. She emphasises creating a relaxed, trusting environment free from competitiveness, where students feel safe to explore their own expressiveness.

The studio is spacious and purpose-built, featuring a dedicated flamenco dance floor and mirrors. It is located in the old artisan courtyard near San Marcos square in the Casco Antiguo (old town) of Seville. The studio also arranges flamenco holidays for those wanting a deeper immersion.
