Formula Latina is a Latin dance school in Florence with over 20 years of experience teaching Salsa Cubana, Salsa Portoricana, Bachata, Reggaeton, Heels, Lady Style and Afrobeat. The school is based at Dancing Time in Via Empoli 16, in the Legnaia neighbourhood, a quiet area south-west of Florence near Porta San Frediano.
The studio structures every course carefully with experienced teachers, offering classes for all levels from beginner onwards. Their approach is inclusive and personalised, designed to help each student develop technique, style and confidence. Courses span both traditional and contemporary styles, from Salsa Cubana and Portoricana to Bachata Fusion, Reggaeton and Heels Dance.
Beyond technique, the school emphasises culture and expression. They teach the history and soul of Latin dance, helping students understand each movement with passion and awareness. The studio philosophy is that dancing is a language—a way to communicate through rhythm, listening and connection. Their goal is to prepare students to dance with anyone, anywhere.
