You can learn Argentine Tango, Bolero, Cha Cha, East Coast Swing, Foxtrot, Hustle, Jive, Mambo, Merengue, Paso Doble, Quickstep, Rumba, Salsa, Samba, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Waltz, and West Coast Swing. The studio offers instruction in both International and American Ballroom Styles.
The teaching approach combines private lessons, group lessons, and practice parties, designed so you learn as much as possible in the shortest time with the most retention. According to the studio, you'll be on your way to confident dancing by the end of your first lesson. The curriculum is based on the Fred Astaire method, a proven teaching system developed by Fred Astaire himself.
The Oak Creek team includes owners Anna Krasnoshapka and Mykyta Serdyuk, both dancers from Ukraine with lifelong experience. Areanna Triliegi is the Studio Manager, a professional ballroom dancer with over a decade of competitive experience. Dance instructors include Andrew To and Rio Huynh, among others. Many instructors have Fine Arts degrees and are actively competing, award-winning professional dancers who have completed rigorous certification in the Fred Astaire Curriculum.
The studio emphasises a welcoming, non-judgmental atmosphere described as warm and joyful. Wedding dance programmes are available, ranging from a simple first dance to choreographed routines for the entire wedding party, father-daughter dances, and mother-son dances. The studio also organises events and competitions, including regional, inter-regional, and national Pro-Am and professional dance competitions, as well as guest parties, showcases, spotlights, and coaching sessions.
