Hørning Dans is a family-run dance school founded in 1925, located in a distinctive old villa on Amager in Copenhagen S. Run by Annette and Peter Hørning, the studio teaches dance and yoga to all ages with a philosophy centered on joy, community, and personal growth rather than competitive achievement. For children aged 3.5 to 18, classes include Mini Showdans (3.5–5 years), Showdans in girly style (5–17 years), and Hip Hop girly style (8–16 years). All children's classes emphasize personal expression and self-confidence without pressure to perform competitively. For adults, the studio offers Pardans (partner dance), Ballroom Fitness (Standard and Latin dance combined), Singledans, Diva Jazzballet with a 1980s theme, Dance Yoga combining light Latin dance steps with barre training and yin/hatha yoga, and spiritually-focused workshops. Young adults can take Heels classes. Postnatal classes include both fitness and yoga options.

Annette Hørning, who leads many classes, is a trained yoga teacher and spiritual instructor with expertise in mindfulness, meditation, healing, and spiritual development. The studio runs a Summer Dance Camp in week 32 for children aged 11–15. It also offers dance events, end-of-year balls where dancers perform in costume, and private sessions. Parents can wait in the attached Café Fru Hørning, an covered courtyard café offering coffee, quality tea, homemade iced tea, and cinnamon pastries. The studio emphasizes personal attention—Annette and Peter are present, and all instructors have extensive dance training and life experience. New classes begin in September, though some groups may have waiting lists.
