Fredie-Pedersen Danseskole has educated successful dance performers worldwide for nearly 90 years. Located on Amagerbrogade in Copenhagen, the school occupies what it describes as iconic dance halls with sound and lighting systems. The studio teaches an exceptionally broad range of styles: K-Pop, TikTok dance, hip-hop, street, commercial, contemporary fusion, girly, modern dance, waacking, dancehall, Bollywood, shuffle, burlesque, house, Broadway jazz, showdance, funky fitness, children's dance, Bachata, ballroom, salsa, swing, ballet, acro dance, jumps, step dance, disco, breaking, cheerleading, and heels.
Classes run at all levels—from absolute beginners to advanced—with new courses starting in September each year. The school offers private lessons available 24/7, where you choose the style, day and time. Group classes form the core of the offering, and the school emphasises a welcoming community atmosphere, describing its environment as "warm, homely and heartfelt."
Beyond weekly classes, FP specialises in events: bridal choreography and wedding celebrations, TV and film work, corporate events, and bachelorette parties (polterabend). The school operates an International Dance Academy (IDA) offering 1-year, 2-year, and 4-month intensive versatile dance performer programmes in Copenhagen and Los Angeles. IDA students receive video performance and photoshoot training as part of their education.
The FP Elite line provides high-level training for those aiming to perform on concert and theatre stages or on television. This programme runs 2–4 days per week with unlimited access to group classes, includes video and photoshoot components, and provides personal coaching and evaluation from the school's artistic leadership. The school has a track record of training Denmark's top dancers, including competition winners at Danish, Nordic, European, and World championships.

Your first visit
Drop-in classes and trial sessions are available. Most classes require only that you do not wear outdoor shoes; for jazz, modern, contemporary and ballet, wearing fitted clothing helps instructors see your lines and correct your posture. Changing rooms and shower facilities are available (bring your own towel and soap).
