About this studio

Havanastyle is an association dedicated to sharing Cuban culture through dance, music and social events across Bordeaux and the surrounding region. They teach Cuban salsa, reggaeton and related styles at multiple locations: regular classes in a studio in Bordeaux itself, and regular Tuesday evening classes at 140 Bar in Villenave d'Ornon.

Beyond classes, they run weekly themed social evenings where you can practise what you've learned, plus occasional larger social nights to challenge yourself and meet more dancers. The association also offers custom dance animations and demonstrations for events, bringing energy and conviviality to celebrations and gatherings.

Throughout the year they organise workshops alongside different figures from the Cuban dance scene, and they host cultural exchange moments that blend dance with the traditions and history of Cuba—music, food, and storytelling. Their blog documents the life of the association, recent events and the wider Cuban cultural landscape.
