About this studio
Hawaiian Entertainment Co brings authentic Hawaiian and Polynesian performance to events across Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, and beyond. The company is Native Hawaiian owned and operated, led by owner Paki Allen, who serves as Hawaiian Ambassador for Celebrity Cruises Hawaii & South Pacific Enrichment programs and as an ambassador of Aloha with the Hawaii Visitors and Maui Visitors Bureau.
Their entertainment roster includes hula dancers, Polynesian dancers and drummers, fire knife dancers, eaters and spinners, Hawaiian bands, and solo musicians featuring ukulele and Hawaiian steel guitar. Dancers have been featured in movies, music videos, and television series with Hawaiian themes.
Beyond performance, the company offers Hawaiian catering with a complete luau menu and frozen tropical bar, fresh flower leis overnighted from Maui for guests, and Hawaiian wedding ceremonies and vow renewals. They also run educational school programs on Hawaiian culture, formatted for age-appropriate audiences.
The business has performed around the world for celebrities, corporate clients, and convention events. They work with group sizes from intimate gatherings to large conventions, customizing packages to meet individual needs and budgets. Their parent company is based on the island of Maui, giving them direct connections to authentic Hawaiian performance traditions and suppliers.
