About this studio
ICB Studios is a Bachata Sensual dance school run by Issam and Charlott in Hamburg. They operate two locations: one in HafenCity (Kehrwieder 5, 5th floor, in a coffee roastery building) and one in Eilbek (Conventstraße 1, in the Conventhaus). The studio describes itself as the leading Bachata Sensual school in Hamburg, and holds a 5.0 Google rating across 32 reviews.
The school offers 14+ specialized Bachata courses at different levels. All new students start with the Bachata Sensual Foundations program, which teaches core technique and forms the foundation for advanced courses. The instructors combine technical explanation with creative combinations, and teach primarily in English with German available on request. Classes focus on partner work, with regular partner rotation during lessons so you work with different dancers and adapt to varying styles.
Classes run on a structured 12-week program cycle. A weekly Bachata Social with an Open-Level Pre-Class runs on Sunday evenings (19:00–23:00). Drop-in attendance is available for the social and for select drop-in courses, though regular partner-work classes require commitment to maintain leader–follower balance and progression. The school also offers Styling courses for those with prior Bachata experience.
You do not need to bring a partner. The studio welcomes absolute beginners and experienced dancers alike, and emphasizes a positive, inclusive, international community atmosphere. Registration is handled via WhatsApp or email, and payments are processed through a booking app once you secure a place.
