Before your first class
The studio runs Intro to Salsa and multi-level classes from beginner onwards; no partner is required for most group classes.
Group classes: $19 single class, $160 for 10 classes (3 months), $300 for 20 classes (3 months), $150 monthly unlimited, $100 for 8 classes per month.
About this studio
Inspired Movement teaches Salsa, Bachata, and Brazilian Zouk in Austin through group classes, private lessons, and regular social dance events. The studio operates from two locations: Rhythm House ATX at 4622 S Lamar Blvd and Reveal at Onion Creek at 12000 South IH 35 Frontage Rd Building #6.
Group classes run throughout the week at multiple levels. Monday features Salsa Shines (footwork, styling, and musicality from 7:30–8:30 PM) and Advanced Salsa Partner Work (8:30–9:30 PM). Bachata Challenge on Tuesday (6:45–7:45 PM) focuses on shines, technique, and partner work. Sensual Tuesday offers Bachata Musicality, Intro to Salsa, and multi-level Salsa and Bachata classes (6:45–8:45 PM) followed by the Sensual Tuesday Social (9:45 PM–11:45 AM) with Salsa, Bachata, and Zouk music. Wednesday's Master the Salsa Belt with Marcus runs Beginner (7:15–8:15 PM) and Intermediate classes (8:30–9:30 PM). Thursday brings Flow and Feel, an intermediate/advanced workshop at 8:30 PM focusing on Zouk-inspired transitions and Sensual Bachata musicality, followed by the Flow and Feel Social (9:30 PM–11:00 PM). All group classes include after-class dance socials and open studio time.
Private lessons are available from Master Instructors (10+ years of experience and top experts in their genres), Advanced Instructors (teaching all levels), and Inspired Instructors (beginning to intermediate). Instructors include Favian and Marcus as Master Instructors, Javier as an Advanced Instructor, and Morgan, Nathan, Kaitlyn, Michael, Joseph, Lea, and Briana as Inspired Instructors. A standard 50-minute private lesson consists of a 5-minute warm-up and goal discussion, 40 minutes of dance instruction tailored to your needs, and 5 minutes of video review and summary.
The studio offers wedding dance packages ranging from Bronze ($320–$520) to Platinum ($120 add-on to social entry), with private lessons and choreography tailored to your vision. Birthday packages span Basic (free social media flyer and birthday dance) to Platinum ($120, including VIP table for up to five, custom photobooth, complimentary champagne, and social dance videos). Gift cards are available. A second class is free for new students who sign up.

You'll join group classes organised by level across Salsa, Bachata, and Zouk, with after-class socials included. Private lessons are 50 minutes of structured, one-on-one instruction with a warm-up, core teaching, and video review. New students get their second class free.
