The four instructors are Lizeth Katz (co-owner, UCWDC World Finalist, Fine Arts degree in Dance from University of Texas, performer at Dancing with the Stars Austin and Paramount's 1923), Travis Herman (co-owner, UCWDC Open Division 1 World Champion, dancing since 1997, former Scottish Highland Dancing national champion, directs three Salsa teams), Lisa Vargas (over two decades experience, placed second in US Open, runs three dance companies), and Adib Ma'ani-Hessari (BA in Choreography from Northumbria University, specializes in Swing and Lindy Hop).
Private lessons cost $95 for one lesson, $360 for 4 lessons, or $1,020 for 12 lessons (40 minutes each). New students can try a free 30-minute intro session, then purchase the New Student Special: three 40-minute private lessons plus 4-week unlimited group classes for $169 (one person) or $239 (couple).
Wedding first-dance packages range from Silver ($285, 2 lessons) through Gold ($480, 4 lessons) and Platinum ($945, 8 lessons) to Diamond ($1,395, 12 lessons), with a free 30-minute consultation. The studio offers salsa and all-levels fusion teams, and you can travel to Salsa/Bachata congresses with them. Space rental is available: half room (1,100 sq ft) at $60/hour or whole ballroom (2,200 sq ft) at $125/hour. Professional dancers are available for hire at $125 for 40 minutes in-studio, $225 for 90 minutes in-studio, or $175 per instructor for the first hour off-site.
