About this studio
JDS Dance News CRAB was founded in 2002 by Piero Mulè and Giovanna Zoccali, driven by their passion for partner dancing. The school has grown significantly and is now led by Luciana Baima, artistic director of the Turin location at Via Bari 15/A. The studio's mission is straightforward: to teach competitive and amateur ballroom dancing, letting everyone discover the fundamentals of dance and have fun doing it.
The school offers collective and amateur classes in Latin American dances, Caribbean dances, and ballroom and social dance, along with a choreographic team and fitness-focused gymnastics for dancers. Whether you want to become a champion or simply enjoy yourself, JDS makes it clear: dancing is easy, but dancing well is difficult.
Beyond group classes, JDS prepares couples for competitive dancing at federation-level competitions in Italy and abroad. The school works closely with its central location in Moncalieri, led by instructor Denise Abrate, and maintains other branches.
If you're unsure whether it's for you, the studio invites you to free trial classes — your first session costs nothing. The school publishes class dates and times regularly so you can find a time that works.
