Kühlers Dansskola is Sweden's original showdance school, founded nearly 50 years ago by dancer and choreographer Lasse Kühler. Located at Tegnérlunden 6 in central Stockholm, the school has trained many of Sweden's most beloved artists in both song and dance, while also welcoming countless hobby dancers who develop and thrive here.
The school teaches dance classes across all ages—from children aged 0–13, through teenagers and adults, to seniors—in a range of styles. Class options include showdance, street dance, jazz, and general dance training. Teachers are well-trained, engaged and highly regarded by students and families alike. Beyond regular classes, Kühlers offers workshops for both children and adults, trial lessons (prova på) to help you choose the right course, private lessons, and singing coaching.
Special opportunities include auditions for Kühlers New Company (KNC), an exclusive training group for dancers ready to take their work to the next level. The school celebrated its 50th anniversary in May 2026 with colourful dance shows at Teater Intiman. Summer workshops are also on offer—for example, Sensommarjazz with instructor Cajsa Kask explores jazz dance expression with focus on rhythm, feeling and movement joy.
Beyond classes, Kühlers hosts dance galas, rents out its central and accessible studios for events, and offers gift cards.
