About this studio

KAMA has been the go-to address for burlesque shows, workshops and courses since 2013. Founded by Eliza Kama, the studio has grown into a team of experienced burlesque showgirls and instructors who teach with passion and warmth.

The workshop experience lasts 1.5 hours (plan for 2 hours with changing and a break). You'll learn burlesque moves and choreography in a supportive group setting. Instructors provide all dance accessories—feathered boas, gloves and hats—so you arrive ready to move. Workshops are available in Antwerp, Brugge, Hasselt, Mechelen, Turnhout, Brussel and Gent. KAMA also comes on location throughout Flanders if you prefer to host in your own space or a hired venue. The atmosphere is deliberately welcoming: no dance experience, rhythm or flexibility is required, and pregnant participants are welcome. If a pose doesn't work for your body, your instructor will show you an alternative so everyone shines. Workshops are designed for women, though gay guy friends are warmly invited.

For longer-term learning, KAMA offers an online burlesque course taught by Eliza Kama that you study at your own pace. You access lessons via laptop or iPad and gain lifetime access—unusual generosity that lets you repeat lessons whenever you need a boost in confidence and sensuality. The course teaches both beginner and advanced moves, progressing step by step. You'll need a laptop with wifi and basic accessories (feathered boa, fan, sturdy chair) that you likely already own.

Beyond classes, KAMA produces full burlesque shows for couples and groups wanting an evening out. The studio is based in central Antwerp and operates show and workshop venues across Belgium. With 4.9 stars from 51 reviews and thousands of past students, KAMA is known for creating an enthusiastic, confidence-boosting experience.
