About this studio
Latin Bootcamp teaches four core Latin styles in intensive 3-hour workshops designed for people who want to learn to dance but don't have time for weekly classes. The four styles are Cuban Salsa, Dominican Bachata, Merengue and Reggaeton. All bootcamps are organized into three levels, keeping the structure simple and accessible.
Classes run at Theater Zuidplein, Gooilandsingel 95 in Rotterdam, a central location easily reached by public transport. All venues feature good dance floors suitable for dancers of all levels. The studio actively builds a community of people who enjoy the social side of learning Latin dance, with the message that everyone is welcome.
Bootcamps are offered in both standard and special formats. There are also private lessons available, and the studio runs team-building dance sessions for businesses. You don't need to bring a partner—participation solo is fully supported—though the studio notes that dancing with multiple partners is common in Latin dance culture and helps you learn more over time.
Parking is well arranged at the location; you can use the multi-storey car parks around the Zuidplein shopping center or street parking in the surrounding neighborhood. The studio maintains a target gender ratio across its bootcamps to create a balanced learning environment.
Bootcamps are offered as gifts, and the studio explicitly states that no one is forced to dance with others if they prefer not to. The experience draws strong reviews: students highlight the instructors' relaxed, engaging approach and the chance to make new friends while learning the fundamentals of each style.
