About this studio
Latin Wave is a dance school and social venue in Marseille's 5th arrondissement, based at CMA Conception on Rue Vitalis. They teach Salsa (both Portoricaine and Cubaine styles), Bachata (Moderne, Sensual, Fusion, and Dominicaine), Zumba, and Kizomba, with classes available at all levels. The school also runs Ladies Styling and Men Attitude classes.
Beyond group and private lessons, Latin Wave hosts regular social evenings and special events. They run Sunset Latino, a free outdoor summer series held each Saturday with live DJ sets from DJ Lolo "Bachatero" and DJ Dios "Havana Salsa", held in partnership with Terrasses du Port and RadioStar, with food and drinks available on site. They also organise the Summer Splash festival, now in its third edition, a weekend event held on the island of Porquerolles featuring international artists, beach activities, competitions, and over 20 hours of classes in a three-day all-inclusive format.
The studio runs an active social calendar including soirées (dancing, concerts, dining events), stages and training intensives, and can arrange animation, shows, spectacles, and wedding entertainment. They work with corporate groups (CE events) and accept partnership enquiries.
The school runs open-door events at the start of each season, offering new members a welcome discount, first free trial class, and interest-free payment plans. They welcome solo dancers and couples and note that all classes are accessible to everyone. The venue is accessible by métro (Timone or Baille stops) or tram (Camas or Eugène Pierre stops). Latin Wave maintains an active social media presence on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
