Leah's School of Latin Dance

Leah's School of Latin Dance is run by Leah Patterson, who has been dancing salsa professionally for over 15 years. She is internationally recognized for her smooth and sensual styling and dynamic stage presence. Her passion is spreading her love of Latin dance through teaching and performance.

Classes run in 6-week series at a variety of locations around Little Rock, with typically 1 or 2 classes running at any given time. You can learn Salsa on2 (NY Style), Bachata, and ChaChaCha in group settings. Special classes with out-of-town instructors are offered from time to time, so it's worth watching the website or signing up for the email list to catch announcements.

If you prefer to move faster or work in a private environment, Leah offers private lessons available throughout the week, scheduled to fit your availability. Private lessons can cover Salsa on1, Salsa on2, ChaChaCha, Bachata, Cumbia, and Merengue. They work for individuals, couples, or small groups, and Leah tailors each session to your goals—whether that's learning fundamentals, prepping for a wedding, or training for a performance.

Private lesson pricing is straightforward: $85 for a single lesson (1 or 2 people, with a partner at no extra charge), $300 for a 4-lesson package, or $560 for 8 lessons. Groups of 3–4 people add $25 per additional guest per session. Private lessons require 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule.
