About this studio
LMT Dance Studio teaches salsa, bachata and kizomba at the Ambassador Hotel Bangkok. The studio is run by John Anthony, a master instructor with over 20 years of teaching experience in salsa and bachata.
Classes are structured by level. Bachata beginner group classes run every Sunday from 5:30–7:00 p.m., and bachata improver group classes every Sunday from 4:00–5:30 p.m. The studio also offers private lessons in bachata, salsa and kizomba at any level, with partners available if you need one — book in advance. No experience and no partner are required to start.
Beyond classes, the studio runs a strong social scene. Latin Soul is a Tuesday weekly party (8 p.m.–9 p.m. workshop, 9 p.m.–midnight social). Hot Latin Thursday follows the same format on Thursdays. A Bangkok Latin Pool Party runs on the last week of the month. There are also performance classes and corporate group options.
The studio organises Thailand Latin Extravaganza, the largest Latin festival in Thailand, taking place 13–20 January 2026, and Latin Escape Da Nang, a festival in Vietnam from 15–17 May 2025. Both are open for booking.
