About this studio

NOLA Spaces is a multi-use rental and event venue located at 1719 Toledano Street in New Orleans, one block off St Charles. The building itself carries the neighbourhood's history: originally a firehouse, it later served as an auto repair shop, residential housing, and a recording studio for local pianist Eddie Bo. The building was purchased in 2010 and reconstructed to preserve its character, incorporating original wood shiplap, refinished firehouse doors brought inside, and even a pole in the lobby as a nod to its firefighting past.

The venue accommodates a wide variety of uses. Dance and fitness classes, rehearsals, photo shoots, music and theatre productions, private lessons, meetings and corporate functions, and special events including weddings, bridal showers, birthday parties and re-passes all take place here. The space comprises four unique rooms, each suited to different needs.

For solo rehearsals and private lessons, NOLA Spaces offers floor space at $20 per hour. This rate applies whether you're an individual artist needing a place to practise, work on choreography, or a local instructor teaching a private lesson. Floor space is available during rental hours, though particular rooms cannot be guaranteed and may be reassigned to accommodate larger full-price bookings.

Rental hours run Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 9:30 pm, and Saturday from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. Special event and after-hours rentals are also available. Contact the venue to check availability, discuss your specific needs, and receive a quote.
