About this studio

Paradise Pole Fitness is located at 2033 Airline Road in Corpus Christi and teaches pole dance fitness to all body types and fitness levels. The studio offers classes both on and off the pole, designed to be fun and functional. Owner and instructor Melinda Bradford discovered pole fitness during a business trip to England and became competitive in the sport. She has won multiple titles including 2012 Miss Texas Pole Star Amateur Winner and Miss Sexy, 2012 Southern Pole Championship Level 2 Championship Division Winner, 2013 Southern Pole Championship Level 3 Artistic Entertainment Winner, 2014 Capital of Texas Aerial Championship Amateur Artistic Winner and Best Tricks, and 2014 Pole Theatre UK Finalist. She returned to her hometown of Corpus Christi to share her passion for pole fitness.

Classes cover a range of skill levels. The studio uses the Mindbody system for scheduling, which you can access via their app to view class descriptions and sign up. Drop-in classes are $30, or try the new student special of 3 classes for $60 (which does not include Open Studio or Yoga). Class passes are available: 5 classes for $125 or 10 classes for $200. Open Studio costs $20 and Yoga is $15 per session.

If you prefer committed training, the studio offers a 6-month unlimited membership for $225 per month, which includes 2 free open studio sessions, or a 10-class monthly pass for $165 (which does not include Open Studio or Yoga). Private lessons are available in 75-minute packages: one session for $75, two sessions for $140, or three sessions for $200. Semi-private lessons (75 minutes) cost $80 for 2 people, $120 for 3 people, or $150 for 4 people.

Paradise Pole Fitness also offers party and corporate event packages. Aerial performances can feature pole, lyra, or pole silks, with choreographed entertainment or ambient aerials. The studio is available for aerial bartending and mermaiding services. Parties of up to 8 people cost $250 for 75 minutes. A 24-hour cancellation notice is required for all classes, and students who arrive more than 10 minutes late will not be admitted to class.
