About this studio
Ballroom Plus is a social dance studio in Corpus Christi led by experienced instructor and owner Mary Lee Rodriguez. The studio teaches ballroom classics—Foxtrot, Waltz, Salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha, and Tango—alongside Country Western, Line Dance, Latin, Flamenco, Tejano, and Belly Dancing. You can take private lessons with skilled instructors, attend group classes, or explore different styles to find what suits you.
The studio is 1,900 square feet and accommodates up to 50 people, making it suitable for both regular classes and special events. Every Friday evening at 9:00 p.m., Ballroom Plus hosts a mix and mingle dance party with snacks and music. Workshops run on weekends to complement the weekly lesson schedule.
Classes are offered for singles and couples of all levels, from complete beginners to experienced dancers. Recent offerings include Country Western (Beginner/Intermediate, Mondays) at $15 per person, and Salsa classes (Beginner/Intermediate, Wednesdays) at $15 per person, with the first Salsa class free. Partner is not necessary for Country Western classes.
