About this studio
Phineas Phogg's Balloon Works is a two-story dance club located at the west end of Seville Quarter in downtown Pensacola. Part of a seven-room entertainment complex established in 1967, Phineas Phogg's operates as a social dance venue hosting regular themed nights and DJ-driven dance events.
The room has distinctive character. Its focal point is a giant brass sailing balloon made by craftsmen at Bob Snow's Orlando creation, Church Street Station. The brick flooring came from the old Isis Theatre in Pensacola, and the DJ's booth was once a pulpit in London. Iron gates from the old Governor's Mansion in New Orleans frame the first entrance on the left of the west alleyway.
Noche Tropical – Latin Night runs every Wednesday at 7:00 PM, described as the #1 Latin Dance Party in Pensacola. College Night takes place on Thursdays at 8:00 PM and is marketed as Pensacola's original and best college night experience, with doors opening at 8:00 PM for ages 18 and up. A Membership Appreciation Night also runs on Saturdays, offering members their own dedicated evening.
Phineas Phogg's is positioned as a place for "the young at heart" and operates as part of Seville Quarter's broader entertainment destination. The venue is open Sunday through Saturday, 11 AM to 3 AM. Private events can be arranged through Seville Quarter's events team, with a $15 minimum food and beverage spending per person required.

Studio history
Phineas Phogg's is part of Seville Quarter, the Gulf Coast's Entertainment Destination since 1967. Bob Snow originally transformed a dilapidated 19th-century warehouse on East Government Street into Rosie O'Grady's Warehouse, a beer-and-peanuts saloon. Seville Quarter has since grown to include seven rooms, each with its own theme. Wilmer Mitchell and his family have operated Seville Quarter since 1988.
