Seville Quarter is a sprawling entertainment complex in the heart of downtown Pensacola's Historic District, operating since 1967 when Bob Snow opened the original Rosie O'Grady's in a converted 19th-century cigar warehouse. Today it spans seven distinct rooms—Rosie O'Grady's, Phineas Phogg's, Lili Marlene's, Apple Annie's, Fast Eddie's, End o' the Alley, and Palace Café—each with its own theme and atmosphere, plus two outdoor courtyards and Heritage Hall, a dedicated banquet facility.
The complex has hosted dancing and live entertainment for decades. Phineas Phogg's is home to regular dancing; Rosie O'Grady's runs the Dueling Piano Show nightly (Wednesday–Saturday from 8 PM, Friday from 6 PM); Noche Tropical Latin Night takes place in Phineas Phogg's every Wednesday at 7 PM; and karaoke runs five nights a week (Sunday, Tuesday–Saturday) in Lili Marlene's. The End o' the Alley courtyard hosts live music regularly, with acts like Joey Collins and Declan Moran. Monday Night Blues Open Jam brings live blues every Monday in Lili Marlene's at 7 PM.
Wilmer Mitchell and his family have operated Seville Quarter since 1988, building community partnerships and a reputation recognized by major publications. The New York Times has called it "the French Quarter minus the strippers and all under one roof," while Southern Living described it as "the landmark Seville Quarter is the historic entertainment complex that became the foundation for Pensacola nightlife." The Boston Globe noted the "complex of 19th-century buildings" includes "eight entertainment venues with live music, karaoke, and an open-air courtyard bar."
The venue runs regular themed nights: College Night on Thursday in Phineas Phogg's (doors 8 PM, ages 18+); Club 27 Comedy shows on the 1st and 3rd Sundays in Lili Marlene's (doors 6 PM, show 7 PM); Sunday Funday from 11 AM–9 PM; B.A.R.E. (Bar and Restaurant Employee) Night every Sunday all day; and Bar Bingo every Monday at 8 PM in Apple Annie's (free to play). Friday Happy Hour runs 5–11 PM in the End o' the Alley courtyard, and Flip My Quarter happy hour happens 6–8 PM Fridays across multiple rooms.
Seville Quarter is fully licensed to host private events. The complex accommodates wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, birthday and retirement celebrations, business meetings, reunions, and corporate events. Heritage Hall provides dedicated banquet space; all seven rooms and courtyards can be booked. Private events require a non-refundable deposit (half the room rental or $200); a $15 minimum food and beverage per person applies; final guarantee due seven days ahead. Service charges (20%), 7.5% sales tax, and 3% credit card processing fees apply. The Private Events Manager, Randy Lloyd, coordinates pricing, menus, and room availability. Audio-visual equipment, DJs, bands, and transportation can be arranged.
