Porto com Salsa - Escola de Dança Cubana

Porto com Salsa is the only Cuban dance school in Porto, founded on 12 February 2013 by architect Niubis and engineer Francisco, both of whom are dance instructors. They worked as freelancers in various dance schools from 2010 before opening their own space. The school is located at Shopping Brasília on Praça Mouzinho de Albuquerque, in a basement studio.

The school teaches a wide range of Cuban, Latin, and African styles. Core offerings include Salsa Cubana, Son Cubano, Roda de Casino (also called Rueda de Casino), Bachata, Chá Chá Chá, Bolero, Merengue, Conga, Kizomba and Semba, Samba no Pé, Samba de Gafieira, Capoeira, Tango Argentino, Heels Dance, and Dança do Ventre. Classes are available for all levels: beginner (Iniciação), intermediate (Intermédio), and advanced (Avançado).

You can take group classes or private lessons. If you don't have a partner, you can still join – the school explicitly welcomes solo students. Private classes are available at beginner through advanced levels and can be individual or for couples. The studio also offers workshops for companies, summer courses, and drop-in classes.

Instructor Niubis Mustelier teaches private lessons in Salsa Cubana and Bachata.
