Promenade Dance Studio

Promenade Dance Studio is a ballroom and Latin dance studio based in Unit 4, Court Farm Barns, Tackley, Oxfordshire. Founded by Craig and Evgeniya Shaw — British, European and World Champions in Ballroom, Latin and American Smooth — the studio brings over two decades of competitive experience to every class.

The studio offers adult dance classes at all levels, from complete beginners to experienced competitors. Adult group lessons cover the foundations of ballroom and Latin, with instruction in waltz, foxtrot, tango, quickstep, cha cha and rumba. One-on-one lessons are available with world-class instructors including Craig and Evgeniya Shaw and Neil Jones, a four-time World Latin Champion and Strictly Come Dancing professional who brings over 40 years of dance experience and 45 championship titles. Dragos Hepcall and Chloe Blackshaw, high-level amateur Latin competitors who have represented the UK internationally and reached finals at prestigious events including the British National Dance Festival, also teach at the studio.

Kids dance classes are taught by the same championship-level instructors. Squad Training sessions run on Saturdays from 10:00 AM, designed for competitive dancers — both solos and couples. The Saturday schedule runs Latin Class 10:00–10:45, Latin Finals 10:45–11:00, Ballroom Class 11:15–12:00, and Ballroom Finals 12:00–12:15, at £15 per class.

The studio also hosts Pilates with Liz, a pilates school run by Dr Liz Moore. Multiple classes per week are offered at all skill levels, with a strong focus on health and wellbeing. Pilates costs £14 per class or £50 for a four-class package.

Promenade offers wedding dance choreography, tailoring instruction to your song choice or offering song suggestions to match your dancing ability. The studio hire spans Studio 1 (17m x 6m) and includes changing rooms, waiting rooms, and a professional sound system with phone and tablet integration. The studio is available for dance events, exhibitions, exams and lessons. Hours are Monday–Wednesday 09:00–17:00, Thursday–Friday 09:00–20:30, and Saturday 09:00–15:00; closed Sunday.

Adult and children's classes are taught by former and current World and European Champions in a welcoming, inclusive environment. Group classes provide social and affordable entry to ballroom and Latin, while private lessons offer tailored training with world-class instructors. Squad Training on Saturdays includes structured class time plus a finals run-through.

Craig and Evgeniya Shaw, the founders, are British, European and World Champions in Ballroom, Latin and American Smooth. Neil Jones is a four-time World Latin Champion with over 40 years of experience and 45 championship titles, known for Strictly Come Dancing. Dragos Hepcall and Chloe Blackshaw are high-level amateur Latin competitors who have represented the UK internationally and reached finals at the British National Dance Festival. Dr Liz Moore teaches Pilates with Liz.

Beginner adult dance classes are designed to develop technique, build strength and flexibility, and express yourself through movement; kids' classes welcome all ages in a fun, welcoming environment.
