The studio occupies multiple spaces within the building: a ground floor inside space, a 1st floor studio with mirrors, and a rooftop space used for summer classes. No partner is required to start.
Classes run weekly on Monday nights. Swing starts at 7pm, Lindy Hop at 8pm, with both classes lasting two hours (7–9pm). A single class costs R120 per person; the two weekly classes together cost R180 per person. For dancers who want to commit to the month, the Monthly Special covers all Monday classes in the calendar month for R600 per person — a saving from the regular R800 value.
The studio also runs monthly Swing Workshops (2 hours, R250 per person) covering Swing Summary, Lindy Hop Reloaded, Solo Jazz, Linedances and other content. Monthly Swing Parties start with a beginner-friendly Swing class followed by dancing to live Swing music; entry is R50 per person. Private lessons are available Monday to Thursday with packages: R450 per hour for single sessions, R400 per hour for five lessons, or R350 per hour for ten lessons.
Beyond regular classes, Que Pasa offers custom packages for weddings, corporate team-building events, and community performances. John Morrison is the Dance Director, described as the driving force behind the studio who "pushes boundaries and develops dancers & teachers into amazing motion poetry." Suzanne Van Niekerk is a Dance Instructor known for her positive attitude and passion for Swing dancing.
Que Pasa became synonymous with Latin dancing in Cape Town since 2004. The studio has spent recent years building the Swing community infrastructure in the city, hosting classes and numerous Swing parties. The launch of Swing Time represents an effort to grow the vintage Swing community.
