About this studio

RISE Dance is a purpose-built dance studio in Farsley, Leeds, offering classes in Ballroom, Latin, Salsa, Bachata, Mambo, Sequence, Street Dance, Line Dancing, Solo Latino, and dance fitness. Adult partner classes run in 4-weekly blocks and cover eight main dances: Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba and Jive. Beginners start regularly so new students join at the same time, progressing together through Beginner, Improver, Intermediate and Advanced levels. The studio teaches Modern Sequence dances including Sally Ann Cha Cha, Rumba One, Melody Foxtrot and Tango Serida. Salsa classes cover Cuban, Colombian, New York and LA styles, while Bachata encompasses Dominican, Modern, Sensual, Fusion and Bachatango sub-styles.

Solo Latino is a 45-minute class exploring Salsa, Bachata, Mambo, Merengue, Rumba, Argentine Tango, Samba and Cha Cha with no partner required. Groove Mode is a dance fitness class featuring Strictly dances designed to deliver measurable fitness results and is suitable for all ages and abilities; Groove Mode Low Impact offers a gentler, lower-impact option. Children's Ballroom & Latin classes teach 9 different styles and can lead to competition opportunities with the RISE Dancesport Team and UKA Exams.

The studio offers private lessons tailored to beginners and experienced dancers, with flexible scheduling. Wedding packages include Single Lesson, Multiple Lesson, Group Dance for the bridal party, and Wedding Day Masterclass options. The studio hosts Social Dance Events and accepts private bookings for events and weddings. A virtual tour is available on their website.
