About this studio
Salsa Condesa was founded in 2014 with the goal of creating a welcoming space where people could connect through dance, regardless of age or experience. The studio specializes in salsa cubana, salsa en línea and bachata, combining technique, musicality and rhythm in a respectful, energetic atmosphere.
The studio operates two branches: Condesa (Gral. Salvador Alvarado 20, Hipódromo, Cuauhtémoc) and Polanco (Av. Ejército Nacional Mexicano 42-Interior 2G, Anzures, Miguel Hidalgo). Classes run from beginner through to advanced levels, and you do not need to bring a partner — the studio uses constant partner rotation during classes so solo students are fully integrated. Morning classes start at 11:30 AM at Condesa, with evening sessions at 7:00 PM, 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM across both locations. Each day features different dance styles at different times, allowing you to choose your skill level (entry, intermediate, or advanced) within each class.
Instructors Marco and Arely are named repeatedly in reviews for their technical depth and teaching partnership. Marco brings male dynamics and perspective to partner work, while Arely is noted for her technical precision and focus on movement nuances. The studio welcomes both singles and couples and emphasizes that staff are patient with newcomers regardless of previous experience or language background.
Beyond regular classes, Salsa Condesa offers private lessons for individuals, couples or groups across all styles and levels. The studio also specializes in wedding dance preparation, with instructors providing expert choreography and coaching. Corporate wellness activations blend dance, music and positive energy to strengthen team culture and reduce workplace stress. Facilities are described as clean and well-maintained.
