About this studio
Salsa Passion is a dance studio in Warsaw founded in 2010 by Maciej Aleksandrowicz, a dancer and movement specialist with over 20 years of experience. The studio focuses on salsa and bachata in what Aleksandrowicz describes as an intimate atmosphere centred on dance, movement and attentive work with the body — without pressure or rush.
The teaching covers salsa LA On1, Cuban salsa, bachata, and both men's and ladies styling. Alongside technique classes, the studio offers individual lessons tailored to each person's level, needs and goals. Aleksandrowicz also runs closed-group workshops and dance-video projects. He incorporates other movement techniques to support body relaxation, freedom of movement and better self-awareness.
Aleksandrowicz's approach to dance is rooted in technique, mindfulness and body understanding, leading toward greater ease, joy and comfort in movement. He has trained in Poland and abroad over many years, with a background that began in 2002 in contemporary dance and breakdance before turning to Latin dance as his primary focus from 2004 onwards.
Beyond teaching, Aleksandrowicz works as a choreographer, photographer and videographer. He creates images and video materials related to dance, movement and portraiture, and undertakes both artistic and commercial projects for individuals and brands, treating visual work as a conscious tool for communication and body awareness.
