About this studio
Samba Explosion teaches samba classes for all levels at their studio on Vulkan in Oslo. They run regular courses (with new courses starting week 35) and offer a free samba class on Wednesday evenings. The studio positions itself around three core things: energy, strength and joy of life. Classes are framed as building confidence and belonging within a strong community.
Beyond regular classes, Samba Explosion produces samba shows — full performances described as bringing glamour, rhythm and pure party energy to events. They market these as performances that take your breath away and make occasions memorable.
The studio also runs workshops and special events outside the regular course schedule. They offer bespoke dance classes for groups — birthday parties and outings where participants can borrow glitter dresses or boas and "shine out their inner goddess". These are positioned as unforgettable group experiences.
Samba Explosion's stated mission is to celebrate and strengthen people through samba. They describe themselves as an inclusive dance community where diversity, movement joy and vitality are central — whether you're taking a course, attending a workshop or experiencing them perform on stage. They emphasize authentic samba, creating space for training, expression and community together.
The studio maintains a presence on Instagram (@samba_explosion and @samba_explosion_showteam) and Facebook. Online booking is available for courses, shows and events.
