Sarah G Barton Dance is a Latin dance company based in Greenville, SC, founded in 2023. The studio offers classes in multiple Latin styles for adults and children, hosts regular social dancing events, and runs the #GVLgozadera Latin Dance Festival — a four-day event featuring dance parties, workshops, shows, competitions and pool parties held each August in downtown Greenville.

The studio teaches Rueda/Salsa Casino, Salsa On 1 & On 2, Bachata Tradicional & Sensual, Merengue, Chachachá, Pachanga, Son, Tango, Cumbia, and Colombian folk rhythms. Classes are offered for adults, kids (Mini Ritmo and Más Ritmo), and teens. You can try your first class free.

Sarah G Barton, the founder, grew up wanting to learn dance and had her life changed by a Colombian friend's introduction to Latin dancing. She lived in Medellín, Colombia, and Santiago, Chile, where she studied, performed, and taught dance. Since 2013 she has performed with Latin dance teams in Colombia, Chile, and the US. In 2016 she completed the DanceAbility International teaching certification in Oregon, which emphasises inclusivity and improvisation. She has studied dance across Colombia, Cuba, Chile, Italy, Ireland, Spain and the US.

Randi Rollen is a co-instructor and co-founder of the #GVLgozadera Festival. He began dancing in 2016 with ballroom and swing before discovering Latin dancing. He teaches Bachata, Salsa, and Rueda, and brings particular passion for salsa with Afro-Cuban influence.

The studio runs regular Latin socials, choreographs for quinces and weddings, provides live entertainment for corporate and private events, hosts workshops at schools and businesses, and organises community events. Weekly Wednesday salsa dancing classes run 7–9 p.m. The studio partners with Girls Empower Girls, a nonprofit focused on educational resources for young girls and teenagers.

Classes are welcoming and structured to break down steps clearly. Instructors make complicated moves look simple and focus on both mechanics and overall form. You'll dance as couples or solo in a fun, inclusive atmosphere; many students come alone and leave with new friends.

Sarah G Barton teaches Rueda/Salsa Casino, Bachata, Salsa, and kids' classes (Mini Ritmo and Más Ritmo). She is fluent in English and Spanish, has performed across the US, Colombia and Chile, and holds the DanceAbility International teaching certification. Randi Rollen teaches Bachata, Salsa, and Rueda with a passion for Afro-Cuban-influenced salsa.
