About this studio

Shauna Roberts Dance Center is a downtown Montréal studio offering drop-in classes, structured training programs, and affordable open practice space. The center teaches K-pop, hip-hop, and street styles, with a focus on beginner and intermediate levels.

The studio runs beginner 10-week K-pop or hip-hop street training programs designed to build fundamentals in footwork, popping, and waving while developing musicality and coordination. Drop-in classes are available: K-pop on Mondays 6–7pm (beginner/intermediate with Fanny, $20) and hip-hop on Thursdays 6–7pm (beginner with Mel, $20). Both drop-in classes are currently paused but updates will be provided. Wednesday sessions run 6–8pm (beginner/intermediate, $45) with Melanie Delisle, and include a cardio hip-hop option (6–6:45pm, $25) and a technique/choreography slot (6:45–8pm, $25).

The studio also offers private classes and workshops tailored to groups (office events, weddings) and individuals developing skills or learning new methods. Instructors are trained to deliver personal attention in a collaborative, fun environment. Private class packages are available for 10-week consecutive programs or single 1-hour sessions, plus workshops of 1.5 hours or longer.

Open practice space is available to all styles for $7 per person per day, or $75 for unlimited monthly access. Monthly membership includes access to the small room from 7am and no booking required. The center has three studios available for private rental: a small room (10×10, 108 sqft), a medium room (21×21), and a large room (21×47). The facility is open Monday to Sunday, 10am to 10pm on available hours, with late-hour options by phone request. Vending machines offer drinks and snacks; two changing rooms and three washrooms are on site. No heels or sharp objects are permitted.
