Stilvoll Tanzen is a dance school run by Luisa Bräuer, operating in both Dresden and Leipzig. The studio teaches 12 different partner dances: Salsa, Tango, Langsamer Walzer, Cha Cha Cha, Discofox, Bachata, Quickstepp, Wiener Walzer, Rumba, Jive, Samba and Swing.
The core philosophy is "Klasse statt Masse" (quality over quantity). Pair dance classes are capped at a maximum of eight couples per lesson, allowing instructors to respond to individual needs and requests. The team are former competitive dancers who teach with competence and passion, working at eye level with students rather than from on high.
Courses are structured flexibly. Beginner pair courses (Basis I) cover foundational steps and first figures in three dances — often Discofox, Langsamer Walzer and Cha Cha Cha, or Salsa, though the curriculum is customised to what students want. Each course includes two free replacement lessons if you miss a session. There are no membership contracts or cancellation deadlines.
Beyond pair courses, the studio runs Ladies classes focusing on Latino rhythms and choreography in Salsa, Samba, Bachata, Cha Cha Cha and Jive without a partner. There is also a singles matching service (Tanzsingle-Kartei) for unpartnered dancers. Luisa offers specialist wedding dance consultations and choreography, advising couples on song selection and creating bespoke first dances tailored to each pair's style — romantic, classical, extravagant or casual.
Online options include video courses for beginners learning the basics of Discofox, Langsamer Walzer and Cha Cha Cha, or for returning dancers practising new figures. Latin dance and body workout videos are also available. The school hosts regular social dance events (Tanzabende) and runs dance circles (Tanzkreise) in both cities.
