About this studio
Studio 904 Ballroom teaches Latin dance in Jacksonville, with Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and Kizomba as specialties. The instructors have over 50 years of combined dance experience and have introduced hundreds to Latin dancing. They offer private lessons, group classes, and host corporate events.
The studio's teaching method is methodical and structured: first you learn what to do with your feet, then you learn to connect with your partner, and finally you learn variations. The team believes anyone can learn to dance in the right environment with effort and energy.
Beyond classes, Studio 904 runs regular socials and themed parties. The 2nd Friday Latin Dance Social is a recurring event. Past themed nights have included the Summer Social Luau, Black Out Latin Night Party with special guest Christian Sola, Glow Up The Night (a blacklight Latin party), and the Moulin Rouge Latin Party. They also host workshops like Move with Confidence, a Latin dance workshop focused on building confidence, character and presence on the dance floor.
The studio doubles as an event venue available for birthday parties, baby showers, corporate events, and private workshops. Rental packages start at $899 for the Petite package (3 hours, up to 30 guests), $1399 for the Classic (6 hours, up to 50 guests), and $2199 for the Signature (10 hours, up to 75 guests). All packages include table and chair arrangement, black chair covers, lighting, and a professional sound system.
