Swing Out Studio Málaga

Swing Out Studio Málaga teaches Swing, Lindy Hop, East Coast Swing and West Coast Swing in the Bailén-Miraflores neighborhood. The studio focuses on technique, musicality and connection, with instructors guiding students month by month through their training. Classes are described as constant movement that require good physical condition.

The studio organizes social dances on weekends where swing dancers from across Málaga can practice steps learned in class and meet other dancers. Swing is taught as an international dance with the same code worldwide, so skills learnt here transfer anywhere.

The studio's teaching approach emphasizes traditional swing steps, the music, dance technique and the history behind the style. Students are encouraged to become accomplished swing dancers while having fun and meeting the local swing community.

Swing music is positioned as a jazz style that developed in the United States in the late 1920s and early 1930s. Lindy Hop is explained as a dance style popularised in New York by African-American dancers at the Savoy Ballroom, danced to swing music.

You'll join a focus on technique, musicality and connection. Classes involve constant movement, so come ready for physical activity. Social dances run on weekends where you can practice what you've learned and meet other swing dancers in Málaga.
