Sydney Ballroom is a Latin American, Ballroom, and New Vogue dance studio located in Annandale, in Sydney's inner west. The studio centres on professional coaching and competitive results, with more than 20 Australian Champions having trained there.
Instruction spans the full competitive Latin repertoire (Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Jive, Paso Doble), Ballroom (Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Tango, Viennese Waltz), and New Vogue. The studio welcomes everyone from first-time dancers to competitive DanceSport athletes, and also specialises in wedding first-dance choreography.
What to expect
Your first visit
Newcomers can join low-commitment $25 drop-in group classes — no membership required. Classes run weekly across Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels, alongside private lessons for solos or couples covering choreography design and technique work. Saturday nights are reserved for social dancing. Wedding couples can book dedicated first-dance lesson packages.
