About this studio

The Kenmore Ballroom, built in 1878, occupies a landmark Victorian building in downtown Albany at 76 North Pearl Street. The space has a storied past as a hotel that once hosted performers including Frank Sinatra. Today it operates as an event venue managed by Mazzone Hospitality.

The venue is a multi-level space featuring a historical bandstand positioned so guests on either level can see the stage. High ceilings and a breathtaking double staircase with a crystal chandelier are defining architectural features. The ballroom can accommodate up to 500 guests standing or 300 seated.

Mazzone Hospitality acquired The Kenmore Ballroom in July 2025 as an exclusive event venue. The company brings over 40 years of hospitality expertise to the operation. Event types hosted include weddings, corporate galas, conferences, bar and bat mitzvahs, and private social events. The venue is part of Mazzone's network of premier spaces across the Capital Region.

Full-service catering is included, with china, glassware, flatware and standard linens provided. Food is cooked fresh on-site for restaurant-quality results. An in-house design department assists with event vision and room layout. Every event is run by an experienced Event Manager. The space suits everything from intimate gatherings to large celebrations.
