Triple Step Studios is a women-owned 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to teaching and celebrating vernacular jazz and swing dances in the greater Atlanta area. Friday night classes and socials run at Elements Dance Studio (2700 Northeast Expy C500, Atlanta, GA 30345). Classes run from 8–9 pm with socials from 9–10:30 pm. Beginners and intermediate classes run all Fridays except band nights, when all levels are welcome. The studio features a floating floor with plenty of fans, a water filter dispenser, a patio, and outdoor seating. Partner rotation is encouraged but not required; you can dance solo or with your own partner. Drop-in pricing is $15 general / $10 students for DJ'd nights (class and social). Band nights cost $20 general / $15 students for class and live music, or $17 / $12 for the social alone. Students and seniors pay $7 for social-only attendance. Volunteers receive free admission and a class pass.
Sunday workshops are held at Marietta Campground Historic Site at the old schoolhouse (accessible by two entrances off the main road; park on the grass). Sunday pricing is $25 general / $20 students, with children under 12 admitted free. You can buy tickets online via PayPal or pay in cash, card, or cash app on arrival.
Triple Step Studios offers private lessons tailored to your style and schedule, children's swing dance programs designed to teach rhythm, coordination, creativity, and social skills through games and interactive activities, and personalised wedding choreography services. The organisation also hosts webinars and podcasts featuring experts in swing dancing and related fields, and solicits guest blog posts on swing dance topics. All donations are tax-deductible (ID# 83-4363687) and support scholarship programmes, student discounts, weekly socials, and operations. The studio operates on traditional lands of The Georgia Tribe of Eastern Cherokee and The Lower Muscogee Creek Tribes.
