About this studio
Dance With Me Buckhead is located in Phipps Plaza on Peachtree Road NE in Atlanta's Buckhead district, on the main level near the Nobu Hotel. It is the first Dance With Me studio in Georgia and the 13th overall. The studio is co-founded by Dancing With The Stars champions Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Val Chmerkovskiy, and Tony Dovolani.
The studio teaches a comprehensive curriculum across multiple disciplines. In ballroom, you can learn American Smooth (Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz), American Rhythm (Salsa, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Swing, Bolero, Mambo), and International Standard and Latin (Quickstep, Samba, Paso Doble, Jive, Argentine Tango). They also offer modern and social styles including Hip Hop, Contemporary, Hustle, Kizomba, and Line Dancing. Classes are available at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Group classes include Quickstep, Bolero, Line Dancing, Stretch and Tone, Argentine Tango Foundations, Basic Salsa, and Paso Doble (intermediate). A $49 intro special is available (offer expires August 31).
The teaching team includes Tristen (Dance Development Coordinator and Dance Instructor, formerly a competitive Hip Hop dancer who discovered ballroom at 19 and now competes in Smooth and Rhythm), Olga Fedarovich (Dance Instructor, originally from Belarus, trained in rhythmic gymnastics and ballet/modern dance at Grodno State College of Arts, with international choreography experience in France and Taiwan), and Maria Lucas (Dance Instructor, from Savannah, GA, who danced ballet professionally in New York City, Washington DC, and North Carolina, and now teaches and competes professionally in American Smooth and Rhythm).
The studio offers private dance lessons (one-on-one instruction), group dance classes, dance fitness, and wedding dance lessons with personalized choreography. They host Social Dance Parties—recent themed events include a Pink Dance Party (August 7) and a Wimbledon-themed evening with strawberry champagne and summer cocktails (August 28). No partner or experience is needed to start, and classes are designed for students of any age and fitness level. Wedding dance lessons are tailored to your song, style, and connection, designed to help you step into married life with confidence.
