Vienna Heels - Dance Community & Studio specialized in Heels Dance

Vienna Heels is Austria's first heels dance organization, based at Soundcube Spaces in Vienna's 11th district. The studio teaches high-heels dance to beginners and aspiring professionals alike, with a philosophy that centers on technique, self-confidence, and women empowerment. Classes run every Monday and Thursday, with weekly open classes in Heels Technique & Walks (all levels), Choreography (beginner level), and Choreography (intermediate/advanced level). Sessions range from 60 to 90 minutes.

The studio welcomes all dancers regardless of origin, gender, appearance, sexual orientation, or dance experience—the only requirement is wearing high heels. Classes are taught primarily in German, but English-language sessions are available on request. The space is air-conditioned and designed for proper heels training, with instructors emphasizing injury prevention through muscle-building, correct technique, and body awareness.

Viennese students can start with an Absolute Beginner Course or try a single class with the Try-Out Ticket. For those seeking more structured foundation work, Vienna Heels also operates the Linz Academy in Linz, a 15-week beginner programme that has guided over 2,000 students through their first steps in heels dance. The curriculum covers mindsetting, posture, walks, dance vocabulary, total body conditioning, heels technique, musicality, performance, and choreography.

Beyond weekly classes, Vienna Heels runs workshops with international heels teachers and intensive courses, typically held over weekends. Classes were adapted to online (ON AIR) format during lockdowns, with ticket flexibility for remote participation. The studio accepts multiple payment methods including Google Pay, Apple Pay, credit card, SEPA transfer, and PayPal. Professional dancers can apply for a 10% discount with proof of current dance employment or education.

Weekly classes begin with a warm-up and stretching, move into heels-specific technique and foundation work, and build toward choreography practice. Beginner classes move at a slower pace with simpler combinations; intermediate and advanced classes include performance exercises and more challenging choreography. Expect detailed feedback and individual attention, especially in smaller group settings.

Absolute beginners are welcome in dedicated beginner classes designed for people who have never danced before; the studio also offers a 15-week Linz Academy for those preferring structured foundation training.
