About this studio
Viva Dance Columbus offers group classes, private lessons, and social dance events in one studio. You can join beginner-friendly classes in Salsa On2, Bachata, Argentine Tango, Ballroom, and Country. The studio runs structured 4-week training cycles and hosts weekly Friday night ballroom socials, plus special events like the Afro-Latin Dance Experience with workshops and DJ dancing.
You have three ways to train: memberships (auto-billed every 4 weeks, ranging from $79 for 4 classes to $299 for unlimited), class passes (one-time purchase, 2 weeks to 3 months validity), or drop-in tickets ($25 per class). Private lessons are available as single sessions ($110 per hour) or packages of 5 ($500) or 10 ($900) lessons.
First-time students can start with the $49 New Student Bundle, which includes a private lesson, one group class, and entry to a social dance—designed to help you feel comfortable from day one. There's also a New Couple Bundle for $64 if you're starting with a partner.
Beginner classes run on a regular schedule: Salsa On2 Level 1 on Tuesdays at 7:30 pm, Bachata Level 1 on Thursdays at 8:00 pm, and Argentine Tango Level 1 on Mondays at 6:30 pm, all taught by studio instructors. No partner is required to join classes. The studio hosts Friday Ballroom socials from 7:30–10:00 pm with rotating DJs and party hosts, admission $20. Special events rotate throughout the year; in March, the studio celebrates Salsamante's 15-Year Anniversary Weekend (March 27–29).
