About this studio
Wedding Dance Boston specializes in dance lessons for couples preparing for their first dance and for parent and family dances. The studio teaches many beginner dancers and also accommodates more advanced levels. Rather than rigid choreography, the focus is on building confidence so you can enjoy your dance and have fun.
Roseann Eliseo, the studio's NDTA certified instructor, has taught thousands of couples to dance in preparation for their wedding. She was the exclusive Wedding Dance Instructor for the Boston Seaport Hotel for over a decade. Roseann is also the Director of Rx Movement, a non-profit dance program for individuals with Parkinson's that has operated for the past 9 years in partnership with Spaulding Adaptive Sports.
Lessons are private—just you and your partner or family in the studio. The studio offers three main packages: a one-hour intensive Prep lesson ($225) featuring foundation moves and a dip, ideal for last-minute dancers; a three-lesson package ($420), their most popular option, covering all wedding dance elements with time for practice and styling; and a five-lesson package ($625) for those wanting more practice time or choreography. Additional group or freestyle choreography outside the standard wedding syllabus may incur an extra fee agreed in advance. Gift certificates are available.
The studio operates from two locations. The Seaport Boston location (437 D St) holds lessons on Tuesdays from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Wellness in Motion Boston (27 School Street, Downtown Boston, near Old City Hall) offers lessons Monday 5:00 pm–8:30 pm, Wednesday 5:00 pm–8:30 pm, Friday 5:30 pm–7:30 pm, and the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month 10:00 am–2:30 pm. Daytime hours are available upon request. The studio has a 24-hour cancellation policy. Payment for all lesson packages is due at the time of the first class.

You'll have a private lesson in the studio with just your partner or family members and Roseann. Bring your wedding song in advance if possible so she can prepare. Lessons focus on building the moves and your confidence rather than demanding rigid choreography.
