About this studio

DivaDance Boston teaches pop-music choreography, hip hop, heels, and dance cardio to adults in a judgment-free, body-positive space. Classes are held at 107 South St Unit BC in Boston. The studio is run by franchise owners Fabiana G-B. and Eric D.

Three class formats are available. DivaDance Choreography classes are 60 minutes long and teach original routines set to different artists or themes—you learn step-by-step in 8-count phrases, breaking down moves so beginners and seasoned dancers progress together. DanceRx is a 75-minute wellness-focused session that layers mindful journaling and stretching with low-impact lyrical choreography, designed as a stress-reducing self-care retreat. NonStop is a 45-minute follow-the-leader high-cardio class with no choreography to memorize, using mini routines set to curated pop and hip-hop playlists.

Instructors use signature cueing techniques to help you lock in muscle memory fast and feel unstoppable. The studio emphasizes zero intimidation and 100% celebration. Every body belongs on the dance floor—the space welcomes dancers of all ages, shapes, genders, and experience levels. The community aspect is central: members connect during class and at exclusive DivaDates and member-only social events, from coffee hangs to themed outings and celebratory nights out.

DivaDance Boston also runs private dance parties for bachelorettes, birthdays, team building, ladies' nights, expecting moms, and kids and teens. Performance Programs let you film or showcase your progress on stage. Membership includes access to a mobile app for booking classes on iOS and Android.

Studio history

DivaDance grew from slumber-party choreography in a small Texas bedroom to a nationwide franchise. Founder and CEO Jami Stigliano captained a college dance team at The University of Texas before working as a New York music-industry executive. In 2015, she decided to build the fun, judgment-free adult dance classes she couldn't find anywhere else. The brand now operates 50+ locations across the U.S. and Mexico City. Boston is one of the franchise locations.
